Analysis and comparison of spectrum analyzer and five elements analyzer in front of furnace for detecting iron and steel

date:2018/4/18 17:13:12type:KNOWLEDGE

Customers should first consider the accuracy, cost-effectiveness and after-sales service when choosing and purchasing any testing instrument. Today, with the rapid development of machinery industry, only the percentage content of elements in steel can be accurately measured. Only in this way can the products meet the national standards.
At present, five elements in iron and steel have reached the level of reading second. Sampling has been upgraded from quantitative analysis to non-quantitative analysis, and the end-point color has been changed from original adjustment to automatic recognition. The whole process of testing five elements of common steel can be completed in a few minutes.
For non-ferrous metals (copper alloy, aluminum alloy) in front of the furnace control is non-spectral, its multi-channel instantaneous multi-point acquisition characteristics maintain the rapid detection of the elements to be detected by the spectrum analyzer.
The ND series analyzer is widely used in smelting, foundry, machinery, vehicles, pumps and valves, ore, environmental protection, quality inspection and other industries and fields. It can conveniently and quickly carry out product testing in the stages of raw material acceptance, pre-furnace analysis and finished product inspection. Now the comparison between spectrum analyzer and ND series analyzer is arranged for customers to choose.
Advantages of ND Series Five Element Analysers
1. Chemical analysis method is an arbitration analysis method used by national laboratories with high accuracy.
2. The interference between elements can be shielded by chemical reagents, so that the elements do not interfere with each other, and the curve can be non-linear regression to ensure the accuracy of the detection.
3. Sampling process is in-depth sample center and multi-point collection, more representative, especially for non-uniform samples and surface-treated samples can be accurately detected.
4. It has a wide range of applications and small limitations. Standard curves can be established for determination, and the instrument can be used for curve self-detection.
5. The cost of purchase and maintenance is low and maintenance is relatively simple.
Defects of ND Series Five Element Analysers
1. The process has more workload than spectral analysis.
2. It is not suitable for fast analysis in front of furnace.
3. For testing samples, the sampling process will be destroyed.
Advantages of Spectral Analyser
1. Sampling method is flexible, and the detection and analysis of rare and precious metals can save the loss caused by sampling.
2. The test rate is high. It can set multi-channel instantaneous multi-point acquisition and output real-time through calculator.
3. Non-destructive testing can be done for some mechanical parts without destroying the samples, which is convenient for non-destructive testing.
4. The analysis speed is faster, so it is more suitable for analysis in front of furnace or on-site, so as to achieve rapid detection.
5. The accuracy of the analysis results is based on the chemical analysis standard sample.
Shortcomings of spectral analyzer
1. It is difficult to accurately detect non-metal and elements bounded between metal and non-metal.
2. It is not the original method, and can not be used as an arbitration analysis method, and the test results can not be used as the basis for national certification.
3. Due to the relative monopoly of the products of various enterprises, the cost of purchase and maintenance is relatively high and the cost of performance is relatively low.
4. A large number of representative samples are needed for chemical analysis modeling. It is obviously unrealistic to detect small batches of samples.
5. The model needs to be updated constantly. When the instrument changes or the standard sample changes, the model also needs to be changed.
6. Modeling costs are very high, and testing costs are relatively high. Of course, when a large number of samples are tested, testing costs will decrease.
7. It is easy to be affected by external or internal factors such as optical system parameters. Curve nonlinearity often occurs, which has a great impact on the accuracy of test results.
